Auto Reader: Smooth Scrolling ("the app") is developed by FightTech. This policy explains what the app does with your data.
Accessibility API
Auto Reader uses the Android Accessibility API, because that is the only way for an app to perform a swipe inside other apps. Before the service can be turned on, the app shows what it does and does not do and asks for your agreement.
- It performs scroll (swipe) gestures on your screen, only after you have pressed play, at the speed you set.
- It displays a small floating panel with play, pause and speed buttons.
- It receives the name of the app in front, so the panel appears only in the apps you chose, your saved speed for that app is applied, and scrolling pauses when you switch apps.
- It receives scroll-position numbers from the page you are reading, so scrolling can stop when the page reaches its end.
- It cannot read the text, images, passwords or any other content on your screen.
- It does not tap buttons, type, or do anything in other apps beyond the scroll gestures you start.
- No data is collected through the service: nothing it receives is stored off your device, sent or shared.
Permissions
The app asks only for what its features need:
- Notifications (Android 13+) — to show the status notification with play, pause and show-panel controls.
- Internet — to load ads, process Google Play purchases and send anonymous usage and crash statistics.
Data stored on your device
Your default speed, the speeds remembered per app, the list of apps you chose and your settings are kept only on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data deletes them.
Analytics and crash reporting
The app uses Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics to understand aggregate usage (for example which screens and features are used) and to fix crashes. These services collect device information such as model, OS version, coarse app-usage events and crash stack traces. This data does not include your screen content, what you read, or the list of apps you chose, and is processed under Google's Privacy Policy.
Advertising
The free version of the app may show ads served by Google AdMob and Unity Ads. To request and measure an ad, these networks receive your device's advertising ID, IP address and basic device information (model, OS version, country, language). This is declared on the app's Google Play Data safety page. Their handling of that data is governed by Google's advertising policies and the Unity Game Player and App User Privacy Policy. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in Android Settings → Google → Ads.
If you are in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's User Messaging Platform before any ad is requested, and your choice is respected on every later launch.
Removing ads: buying any Premium plan (monthly, yearly or lifetime) turns ads off completely. Purchases are processed by Google Play; we never see your payment details.
What we do not do
- No account, no sign-up, no personal profile.
- We never sell your personal data, and we never send your screen content, what you read, or the list of apps you chose anywhere.
- Apart from the advertising and analytics identifiers described above, no data is shared with third parties.
Children
The app is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13.
